Selena Gomez is opening up on just how much she adores Fred Armisen.
Last month, the 30-year-old actress/singer revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone that she actually named her kidney after Fred!
In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (December 5), Selena revealed how the 56-year-old Portlandia actor reacted to her kidney naming revelation. She shared:
“So, I got a kidney transplant a couple years ago and as a way of coping, I thought I would name it.
That’s weird I know, but I did. I named it after Fred Armisen.”
Jimmy asked her why she named her kidney after Fred, to which Selena replied that she’s such a huge fan of his, declaring:
“Because I love Portlandia and I love everything that he does!
So I’m like, ‘Hey, watch Fred, guys.’”
Selena then shared how Fred reacted to her kidney revelation:
“Yeah, he sent me flowers. I was so excited!”
