This Monday, September 6, America is celebrating Labor Day! And as we all sit back and enjoy the long weekend, our favorite celebs have been busy busy busy with out of the country film festivals, meet-ups with friends, weddings, celebrating milestones, and more. 

Here’s what the stars have been up to over Labor Day weekend – so far!

Beyonce celebrates her 40th birthday. Beyonce Knowles celebrated a milestone birthday on Saturday. All hailed the Queen as she turned 40, with the entertainment industry sending greetings and love in droves. Harper’s Bazaar even released a video compilation of birthday greetings from power players like Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Laverne Cox, first lady Dr. Jill Biden, and Taylor Swift.

Chrissy Tiegen marks 50 days of sobriety. John Legend’s wife marked 50 days of being sober on Saturday, calling it “my longest streak yet!” She wrote on Instagram: “I still dunno if I’ll never drink again but I do know it no longer serves me in ANY way. I don’t get more fun, I don’t dance, I don’t get relaxed. I get sick, fall asleep and wake up sick, having missed what was probably a fun night. I had my fun with it and appreciate anyone that can enjoy it responsibly!!!!”

Olivia Wilde supports boyfriend Harry Styles. Olivia and Harry are more loved up than ever! Olivia was spotted supporting her man at his Love On Tour opening night show in Las Vegas on Saturday. An eyewitness said: “She was so happy and dancing all night! It was very cute. She was singing along to almost every song…and having a good time with the people she was with.”

Niall Horan makes red carpet debut with girlfriend Amelia Woolley. Niall Horan and Amelia Wooley have made it red carpet official. The 27-year-old One Direction alum and his 24-year-old lady love walked the red carpet together for the first time at the Horan & Rosa Gala in London, England on Friday. 

Riverdale actor Jordan Connor marries fiancee Jinjara Mitchell. Jordan Connor, who plays Sweet Pea on Riverdale, exchanged vows with his fiancee Jinjara Mitchell on Saturday. The two said their “I dos” in front of family and friends at the Long Beach Resort in British Columbia, Canada. Jordan shared the happy news on Instagram, writing: “BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!”

Dakota Johnson and Jaime Dornan Reunite At Telluride. It was a 50 Shades Of Grey reunion for Dakota Johnson and Jaime Dornan, who both attended the 2021 Telluride Film Festival on Saturday. Dakota was there to promote her film The Lost Daughter, while Jaime was there to promote his movie Belfast. 

Celebs shine at the 2021 Venice Film Festival. The stars came out to play at the 2021 Venice Film Festival in Italy. Some celebrity sightings in Venice over the weekend included:

  • Zendaya, chic as ever at Valentino’s Venetian dinner on Saturday at Harry’s Bar. The event was in celebration of the actress and Valentino Brand Ambassador, just days after she turned 25. 
  • Timothee Chalamet and Rami Malek at the Miu Miu Women’s Tales Dinner on Saturday, along with other celebrity attendees like Tye Sheridan, Kiki Layne, Ciara Bravo, and Rebecca Ferguson.
  • Anya Taylor-Joy turning heads in a stunning orange ensemble on Sunday at the film festival. She also attended the Last Night in Soho premiere the night before.
  • Kate Hudson, Eiza Gonzalez, and Demi Moore at the celebration of Women in Cinema Gala on Saturday.
  • Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas at the premiere of their film Official Competition on Saturday. The two were joined on the red carpet by co-star Oscar Isaac and Antonio’s girlfriend Nicole Kimpel.
  • Money Heist stars Jaime Lorente and Esther Acebo attending the premiere of Official Competition on Saturday, after the release of season 5 of their hit Netflix show.
  • Elite star Ester Exposito looking stunning on the red carpet while attending the Official Competition premiere on Saturday.
  • Young Hollywood taking over the red carpet at the film festival, with stars Hailee Steinfeld, Nicholas Hoult, and other young celebrities attending the Official Competition premiere. Other young stars present  included Maude Apatow, Barbara Palvin, Adria Arjona, Chase Stokes, and Antonia Gentry.
