Stars celebrated fathers with sweet tributes to the dads in their lives on Father’s Day.
Camilla Cabello celebrated Father’s Day with a special release – the music video for “First Man.” She dedicated the sentimental music video, which featured homemade videos of her and her dad, Alejandro, to her dad. “Papa, I made this for you,” Camila captioned a snippet of the MV posted on Instagram.
“Thank you for loving me, unconditionally, ferociously, and constantly,” she continued. “Doesnt matter if I fail or succeed, doesn’t matter if I feel on top of the world or like the dirt on my shoe lol. You love me just because you love me, without me needing to do or be anything other than just me. Thank you endlessly, for everything. Thank you for showing me what love is and for showing me how to be loved. I will always be your little girl ❤️ te amo mucho papa, thank you for being my hero, happy Father’s Day.”
John Legend had a one-hour special, John Legend and Family: A Bigger Love Father’s Day, which aired Sunday (June 21), which featured performances (yes, there was a Father’s Day song), games, and cameos from Stevie Wonder, Shaquille O’Neal, Quincy Jones, Common, Scottie Pippen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Marlon Wayans, John’s dad Ronald, and more.
He also hopes to start a new tradition for their family: an annual “Legend Father’s Day Barbecue.” Her even had some special guests in their backyard to kick off the family event – Britney Spears, Lizzo, and even Queen Elizabeth…just as cardboard cutouts though.
Drake, who is dad to 2-year-old son Adonis – whom he shares with Sophie Brussaux – went on Instagram to wish to fans, friends and family a Happy Father’s Day by sharing another photo of Adonis – looking uber adorbs and totally rocking the #wokeuplikethis look. “Happy Fathers Day to all the real g’z handling business 🌍,” he captioned the photo.
Up until recently, the “In My Feelings” rapper didn’t share much about his life as a father. But in March, he shared photos of his adorable boy in an emotional post about missing family during quarantine.
Drake also gave a special shoutout to Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and more on his Instagram Stories.
Kourtney Kardashian showed ex Scott Disick some love on social media to celebrate Father’s Day amid reconciliation rumors. “Happy Father’s Day, thankful for you and these three special ones,” she wrote alongside a family photo with their three children – Mason, Penelope, and Reign.
Kourt also paid tribute to her late dad, Robert Kardashian, sharing a childhood home video taken by their dad where she and Kim greeted their dad on Father’s Day. “I can’t believe it’s been 17 years since I heard your voice, saw you or touched you. Always in my heart. (Always behind the camera 😊)” Kourtney wrote in the captions.
Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian paid tribute to all the dads in their famous family.
Kris shared a collage of photos with Robert Kardashian, Caitlyn Jenner, her son Rob, Scott, Travis Scott, Tristan Thompson, and Kanye West, writing, “Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, soon-to-be dads, grandfathers and father figures out there. How blessed we all are to have these incredible fathers in our lives! Thank you for teaching, loving and supporting our kids and grandkids and leading by example. We love you! #HappyFathersDay”
Khloe featured individual photos of them – including ex Tristan, with whom she shares daughter True, and Caitlynn Jenner, amid their rumored rift – on her Instagram Stories.
Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner gave props to ex Travis for being “the best daddy to our daughter” on Instagram Stories. She also posted a special message for Caitlyn on Instagram: “happy dads day 🤍 love you.”
Jennifer Lopez also celebrated all the dads in her life – fiancé Alex Rodriguez, ex-husband Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Max and Emme, and her own dad, David Lopez.
“Having you in all of our lives is such a blessing. Watching you with all our babies makes my soul sing.
Happy Father’s Day macho bello!!! We love you so so much 💙💙💙 @arod,” she captioned a photo of their blended family – which includes her twins and his daughters Natasha and Ella.
In another post, J.Lo greeted Marc Anthony, “Happy Father’s Day flaco!!” and shared some snaps of him spending time with their kids.
She also shared a video tribute to her dad, writing, “Dad, thank you for being you… for loving me for who I am… I am so lucky to have you as my dad. Happy Father’s Day ♥️ ♥️ ♥️.”
Gwyneth Paltrow’s blended family is all love on Father’s Day. The Goop founder shared a couple of photos of ex-hubby, Chris Martin, hanging out with their kids, Apple and Moses, and, the second photo includes her current hubby, Brad Falchuk. “Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads out there. Sending you all love ❤️,” she wrote in the captions.
It was a double celebration for Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt – Father’s Day also happened to be the actor’s birthday. Chris, who is dad to 7-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris, turned 41 on Sunday (June 21).
Chris and Katherine are expecting their first child together, and the best-selling author celebrated her hubby’s special day with a sweet note on Instagram, writing, “Happy birthday and Father’s Day to my wonderful, loving, exceptional husband. What an amazing year you’ve had and I know this year will be filled with more fun, adventure and love.”
