Jonah Hill’s ex Sarah Brady is dropping serious allegations against him.

The 39-year-old 21 Jump Street actor went public with their relationship back in 2021. They were the subject of engagement rumors in 2022.

It is unclear when he and Sarah broke up, but Jonah welcomed his first child with girlfriend Olivia Millar just this June.

On Friday (July 7), Sarah accused her ex of being “emotionally abusive” when they were in a relationship. In a series of posts on her Instagram Story, she shared screenshots of her alleged message exchanges with Jonah when they were together.

Sarah made it clear that Jonah was never physically abusive, but in the text exchanges she posted, he could be seen placing strict limitations on how she would interact with others and how she presented herself.

Jonah’s limitations to Sarah included “surfing with men,” “to model,” “friendships with women who are in unstable places,” and “to post pictures of yourself in a bathing suit.”

Jonah also stated that he “was not the right partner” for her if she did not agree to his stipulations.

Sarah said that she decided to speak out because “keeping it to myself was causing more damage to my mental health than sharing it could ever do.”

She wrote:

“This is a warning to all girls. If your partner is talking to you like this make an exit plan.

I too struggle with mental health but I do not use it to control ppl like he did to me. It’s been a year of healing & growth with the help of loved ones and doctors to get back to living my life without guilt, shame, and self-judgement for things as small as surfing in a swimsuit rather than a more conservative wetsuit. And I’m sure there’s still much more healing from this abuse ahead of me.”

Sarah added that what she went through with Jonah does not make him a “terrible person” but that “it doesn’t mean it’s ok.”
