Jonathan Majors’ legal counsel has released text messages sent to him by his alleged victim.

The 33-year-old Creed and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor was arrested by the police last weekend in New York City amid allegations of assaulting a woman.

Jonathan was officially charged on Monday.

His attorney Priya Chaudhry released texts that she claimed the woman sent. In the texts, she woman admits being at fault and says that she was assured by police that he was not going to be charged.

She allegedly texted:

‘They just called to check on me and I reiterated this was not an attack and they do not have my blessing on any charges being placed.”

Another message said:

“Just call me when you’re out. I love you.”

Jonathan’s attorney said in a statement before the texts were released:

“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows.”

His legal counsel said that the alleged victim reportedly saw another woman texting Jonathan. She attempted to take a look at his phone, which led to the altercation.
