There’s some new tea regarding Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears – and we’ve got the deets!

Reports have it that Justin appeared to have alluded to his ex-girlfriend’s best-selling memoir for the first time.

As we all know, the 42-year-old Princess of Pop dropped her memoir The Woman In Me earlier in the fall. The best-selling memoir included several revelations about her relationship with the 42-year-old musician and Trolls star.

On Wednesday evening (December 13), Justin performed during the grand opening of the Fountainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas. Fans think that he may have alluded to the memoir and to his former romance with Britney while on stage.

Reportedly, right before he began singing his song “Cry Me A River,” Justin took a moment and said these words:

“No disrespect.”

Britney and Justin were in a relationship from 1999 to 2002. Months after they split, Justin dropped “Cry Me A River,” seemingly about Britney. In the music video for the track, a woman who very much resembled Britney cheats on Justin.

Well, it seems Britney may have heard about what happened! She took to social media to share a post that seemed to reference Justin and throw some shade his way.

On Instagram, Britney shared a clip from her scrapped “Make Me” music video. The caption that accompanied it reflected on the video BUT also seemed to contain pointed jabs at Justin.

She began:

“Oh Jesus Christ, the stories … I could tell on the set of this one. It was show in Arizona 120 degree heat.” She continued, writing, “2 different version videos were shot for this song … most boys say ‘OH I’M SHOOK’ !!!”

AND THEN she said:

“Psss I never mentioned how I beat him in basketball 🏀 and he would cry … no disrespect 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!”
