Lucy Hale is getting very candid about her dating life.

The 33-year-old former Pretty Little Liars actress opened up about relationships and even her sex life in a candid new interview on the Broad Ideas With Rachel Bilson podcast.

Dating non-negotiables

“After my last relationship ended, I had all these non-negotiables, which some people might call way too picky, but I just have these standards and I refuse to believe that that’s not out there. And so I’ve been single for so long because … they don’t have this, and I’ve just had to be really patient.

I definitely have an open mind to … dating someone different as well. But it’s more I just fall back to the self-respect and self-worth that I have now that I didn’t have earlier in my life.”

What she wants in a guy

“I have put a lot of work into myself, and so someone who’s completely aware of themselves and knows their strengths and their weaknesses, that’s so important to me. Someone who’s not self-aware, bye. Take yourself, there’s the door.

He has to be funny. It’s like, it kills me. It’s my biggest, like, slayer. Like, f—ing make me laugh and I will pull down my pants.”

Dating a man in his 50s

“I haven’t really had rules with dating. I’ve dated all the way up to 52 — [from] 27 to 52. I’m 33 and I feel like I’ll probably end up with someone around my age or older, just because of the non-negotiables. I feel like a lot of people in that older age bracket will meet those.

He was a young 52. I loved it. No bulls–t, almost.”

One of her biggest turn-ons

“You know what turns me all the way up and on? When people ask questions! How many times are you with someone and you’re like, ‘They’re only asking me questions because they want to answer it’ or they straight up don’t ask you anything. I think this all circles back to not being aware. Someone who can read the room and are sensitive to other people’s emotions, f–king hot. I’ll marry you today. But it’s rare. I find it in women all the time. I think in women, because we are more empathetic, or sensitive. I guess I just like sensitive dudes. You don’t need to cry… someone who’s not afraid to tap into all the different layers of themself.”

Losing her virginity

“I had to have been in junior high school, like really young, and at the time I was in love with my older brother’s best friend. So all I pictured was, ‘I need a shaved head and green eyes.’ That was the only things I was looking for. I was f–king 14 years old… He was my first. I lost my virginity to him, so clearly, it did something… It just opened my eyes to really believing — and I think I’ve done it quite a few times in my life where I manifest things, and it is powerful.”
