Twas a very happy Halloween indeed for Blink-182 and Mark Hoppus fans!

Mark Hoppus took to the stage during an exclusive pay-per-view Halloween concert in his first performance since announcing in September that he is cancer-free.

The Blink-182 frontman wore a Batman outfit at the Halloween “House of Horrors” special and performed the band’s hits. Mark was joined by his bandmate Travis Barker, and the two performed “What’s My Age Again?,” “The Rock Show,” and “Family Reunion.”

Travis hosted the exclusive Halloween special with NoCap. In addition to Mark, other featured guests included Avril Lavigne, Blackbear, Iann Dior, JXDN, and Machine Gun Kelly.

Back in September, Mark took to social media to share the joyful news that he was cancer-free. In a Twitter statement, her wrote:

“Just saw my oncologist and I’m cancer free!! Thank you God and Universe and friends and family and everyone who sent support and kindness and love… Still have to get scanned every six months and it’ll take me until the end of the year to get back to normal but today is an amazing day and I feel so blessed.”

Travis responded by saying:

“Love you @markhoppus. Best news brother!”

Mark revealed his diagnosis and treatment on June 23, sharing on Instagram:

“For the past three months I’ve been undergoing chemotherapy for cancer,” Hoppus wrote via a social media upload in June. “It sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time, I’m blessed with incredible doctors and friends to get me through this. I still have months of treatment ahead of me but I’m trying to remain hopeful and positive.

Can’t wait to be cancer free and see you all at a concert in the near future.”

He detailed his diagnosis a month later, revealing:

“My classification is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma Stage 4-A.”

The 49-year-old musician’s performance at House of Horrors was filmed days earlier at a “reimagined” haunted house outside of L.A. and marks his first since his diagnosis.

In an interview after the performance, Travis expressed his happiness at Mark’s health update. The drummer said:

“The best news all year… That’s my brother. Mark doing this and us playing a few songs is just incredible, and I’ve been with him through this whole process and he’s just been so strong and resilient and tough, and I just told him ‘elbows up and fight, it’s time to fight’ and he did.”

So happy to see you healthy and back on stage, Mark!
