It looks like Bennifer may have graduated from just hanging out to full-on reconciliation.
After weeks of rumors that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have rekindled their romance, sources are saying that the two are fully a couple – and are telling friends just that.
“J.Lo and Ben are very much a couple and have been telling friends that they’re together,” a source tells Entertainment Tonight. “When they first reconnected, they had to see if the spark was still there because it had been a while. It was, so now they are both fully in it.”
And now that they’re reportedly giving their romance another go, it seems they’re trying to learn from their past mistakes.
The source adds that the pair has “talked about the past and why things didn’t work out” and they’re now “putting the effort in” and are totally “hopeful about their relationship this time around.”
Ben and J.Lo first dated back in 2002 – and the actor popped the question after just a few months of dating. But after postponing their 2003 wedding, they ended up calling off their engagement in 2004.
They started sparking reconciliation rumors after Ben was spotted outside of J.Lo’s home in Los Angeles in late April, following her split from ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez. They’ve since been snapped together on multiple occasions – including trips to Montana and Miami, and a PDA-filled dinner date in L.A. And it appears Ben is no longer the only one making the effort to see J.Lo – she was snapped visiting him in his Brentwood home on Friday (June 4)!
Apparently, they’re also planning to spend even more time together over the summer.
“[They] are discussing summer plans,” a source told People last week. “[They] want to spend as much time together as possible. They also want to take a trip.”
While they don’t seem to be shy about being seen together in public, it’s important to note that neither have publicly spoken out about the actual status of their relationship.
But, from what sources say, it definitely looks like it’s all systems go for Bennifer 2.0.
“She’s crazy about Ben,” a source tells E! News. “He spoils her with love and is very witty and charming. He’s a man’s man, and she finds him so attractive and strong. She’s in it for the long term and sees her future with him.”
“They have both matured and are on the same page and it has been easy,” a source also tells ET.
