Break out the campfire songs—Camp Rock 3 is happening! Disney confirmed production is underway in Vancouver, with the movie set to stream on Disney+ and air on Disney Channel.
“Camp Rock is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, with unforgettable music, energetic storytelling, and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day,” said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. “Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation.”
Original stars the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato return as executive producers, with Nick, Joe, and Kevin reprising their roles as Nate, Shane, and Jason Gray—aka Connect 3—in guest appearances.
Here’s the official synopsis: The story picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances.

Director Veronica Rodriguez (The Slumber Party) helms the project with a script by Eydie Faye and choreography from Jamal Sims of Descendants fame. Producers include Tim Federle, Gary Marsh, Betsy Sullenger, and Spencer Berman.
With music, nostalgia, and a fresh wave of talent, Camp Rock 3 is poised to strike the perfect chord for both longtime fans and a brand-new generation.
