Charles Melton has officially entered a brand-new role: fatherhood.
The Riverdale and May December actor revealed on Monday (March 9) that he and his girlfriend, French-Australian artist and director Camille Summers-Valli, have welcomed their first child together.
Melton shared the news on Instagram with a short but meaningful caption: “Our family,” Charles wrote.
The post included a series of intimate photos capturing the couple’s first moments as new parents. One image shows Melton kissing Summers-Valli on the cheek as she cradles their newborn. Another photo captures the actor lying on the floor beside the baby, creating a relaxed snapshot of early family life.
Additional images offered glimpses of Summers-Valli during pregnancy, along with a few personal touches — including a photo of Melton holding the baby shirtless and another featuring the couple’s beloved husky.
While the actor shared several sweet moments from their growing family, the couple has chosen to keep many details private. As of now, they have not publicly revealed the baby’s birth date, gender, or name.
News that the couple was expecting first surfaced in January.
