Crystal Renay is officially divorcing Ne-Yo.
On Thursday (August 4), she reportedly filed for divorce from the 42-year-old singer. She filed the paperwork to end their marriage in Atlanta. In the court documents, she claims that their marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope for reconciliation” after his alleged infidelity.
She listed their date of separation as July 22, and alleged in her filing that Ne-Yo fathered a child with another woman.
She is seeking primary physical custody for their three kids – Shaffer, 6, Roman, 4, and Isabella, 13 months – and joint legal custody as well as child support and alimony.
Crystal’s filing comes after she publicly slammed Ne-Yo last weekend for cheating on her. She wrote at the time:
“8 years. 8 years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and my husband with numerous women who sell their bodies to him unprotected… every last one of them!”
Ne-Yo and Crystal were married in 2016.
