The 33-year-old rapper and the 32-year-old New England Patriots wide receiver appear to have unfollowed each other on Instagram. While it’s unclear exactly when the change happened, the timing has raised eyebrows — especially following Super Bowl weekend.
Cardi attended the 2026 Super Bowl, where Stefon played with the Patriots. She also appeared onstage during Bad Bunny’s halftime performance, putting her squarely in the spotlight. Shortly after, fans began pointing out that the couple no longer follows one another online.
The two have been linked since early 2025 and share a son together. Just recently, Stefon even teased a possible proposal, making the sudden unfollowing feel especially surprising.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Cardi was spotted out with friends at the Proper Hotel during a Raising Cane’s after-party following the Super Bowl on Sunday night (February 8) in San Francisco. She wore a plunging black mini dress paired with thigh-high stiletto boots, looking confident and unbothered.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the split allegedly happened “recently.” A source told the outlet that the situation may not be final.
“She is focused on her upcoming tour and family while figuring out their next steps,” the source added.
The same source suggested that reconciliation isn’t off the table, noting that “they might get back together and this could just be for right now.”
Fans also revisited an awkward moment from earlier in the weekend, when ESPN asked Cardi for a message to share with Stefon ahead of the game. Her response? A brief and flat: “Good luck,” before walking away.
The couple has not publicly interacted online since November 2025, when Cardi gave birth to their child. Since then, they’ve largely kept their relationship private, making social media cues one of the few visible indicators fans have to go on.
