Fans in Europe were left disappointed this week after Doechii unexpectedly canceled three scheduled festival performances.
On Tuesday (August 19), All Points East announced that the rapper—best known for her viral hit “Nissan Altima”—would no longer be performing at their London festival on August 23. “We’re very sorry to announce that Doechii will no longer be performing at her upcoming shows. She is an incredible artist, and, like all of her fans, we were hugely excited to see her on stage. All Points East has an amazing line-up including RAYE, Tyla, JADE, Jyoty, Nao and many more, and it’s set to be a truly unforgettable day,” the festival shared on Instagram.
Soon after, two more cancellations were confirmed. Doechii also pulled out of FORWARDS in Bristol and Rock en Seine near Paris, both of which shared similar announcements on social media.
The sudden cancellations have fueled speculation, but Doechii herself has yet to issue a statement. Her most recent post was about her upcoming Live From the Swamp Tour, suggesting she is still preparing for her own headlining shows later this year.
For now, fans are left without answers, but many remain hopeful that the rising star will return to the stage soon.
