Is Emma Watson officially off the market?
The 35-year-old actress — best known for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series — has sparked fresh romance rumors after being spotted getting affectionate with Mexican entrepreneur Gonzalo Hevia Baillères.
According to photos obtained by People, Watson and Baillères were seen sharing a passionate kiss while waiting in line together at an airport on Wednesday, March 4. The candid moment quickly set social media buzzing, with fans speculating that the pair may be more than just friends.
Later that same day, the two were reportedly spotted heading out for dinner together — adding more fuel to the speculation that a new relationship could be brewing.
Baillères comes from one of Mexico’s most prominent business families. The Baillères dynasty has long been associated with Grupo Bal, a powerful business group founded by billionaire industrialist Alberto Baillères.
Grupo Bal’s holdings span several industries, including mining, finance, insurance, and retail. One of its most recognizable ventures is El Palacio de Hierro, a major high-end retail brand in Mexico.
Gonzalo himself has also built his own presence in the tech world. He currently serves as the CEO of the artificial intelligence company Lok, positioning him among a new generation of business leaders emerging from the Baillères family.
Reports suggest Watson and Baillères may have been quietly spending time together for months before their recent public sighting. According to Quién, the two were first seen together in late 2025 while vacationing in Courchevel.
Soon after, they were also spotted in Punta Mita, a picturesque destination along Mexico’s Pacific coast that has become a favorite getaway for celebrities.
While neither Watson nor Baillères has publicly confirmed the relationship, the photos have certainly caught fans’ attention — particularly given Watson’s relatively private approach to her personal life.
Baillères previously dated Mexican pop star and actress Belinda between 2022 and 2024. Belinda is also known to Disney Channel fans for her appearance in the 2006 film The Cheetah Girls 2.
As for Watson, the actress has largely kept her romantic life out of the spotlight in recent years, focusing on activism, education, and selective film projects.
