Finneas and Billie Eilish are back in their creative groove — and fans are ready.

The 28-year-old singer, producer, and eight-time Grammy winner confirmed during the Nobody Wants This Season 2 premiere that he and Billie are officially working on new music together. His song “Palomino” will appear in the series, but it’s his update about Billie that really caught fans’ attention.

“We’re working on stuff,” he told Variety. “We’ve been in the studio together, and it’s been really fun. It feels like we’re back in that zone again.”

The brother-sister duo’s last major collaboration was Billie’s 2024 album Hit Me Hard and Soft, which received massive critical acclaim for its moody production and haunting lyrics.

As for when the next project will arrive, Finneas kept things vague: “I don’t want to give an exact date just in case it’s wrong, but we’re both really excited to make it.”

He also addressed the pressure the two often feel from fans and the industry to constantly deliver hits. “I want to make an album that I feel super proud of and have no regrets about and then give that to people,” he said. “Because they’re going to live a long time, you know.”

Finneas’ thoughtful approach reflects the artistic integrity that’s made the siblings stand out since day one. Together, they’ve crafted a sound that’s completely their own — cinematic, emotional, and raw.

And while fans may have to wait a bit longer, it’s safe to say whatever Billie and Finneas are “cooking up” will be well worth it.
