Jennifer Lopez knows what’s what in her relationship with fiancé Alex Rodriguez – and she’s not about to let any rumors ruin that.
Over the past few weeks, A-Rod became the subject of cheating speculations after Craig Conover accused his co-star Madison LeCroy of cheating on her then-boyfriend Austen Kroll with a Miami-based “ex-MLB player” during the Southern Charm reunion, which aired on January 28th.
Madison was quick to slam those allegations, saying, “Give me a name! Put me on a lie detector test. I never flew to Miami. Where’s the record of that? That’s fake.”
However, fans began to speculate that the ex-MLB player in question could be A-Rod, who happens to have a home in Miami, after some fans claimed they noticed he had liked one of Madison’s Instagram posts over the summer – but that he has since unliked it.
Last week, Madison told Page Six that they “never met up,” but did claim they’ve “spoken on the phone.” However, at the time, a source also told Entertainment Tonight, “Alex Rodriguez never met Madison and doesn’t know her.”
Madison is yet to respond to additional requests for comment and, so far, A-Rod and J.Lo are also yet to directly address the rumors.
However, fans think A-Rod may have low-key addressed the cheating allegations when he posted a video of him and his finacee having fun on a road trip – J.Lo was totally jamming to the music on the radio. They were also later spotted enjoying a date night at the Bellini restaurant in Southern Florida, proving they’re still very much together.
A source recently spoke to ET about how J.Lo is feeling about the whole sitch.
According to the source, J.Lo is “truly unaffected” by all the rumors, explaining that they “are so connected both romantically as a couple and as a family with their kids and these rumors wouldn’t break that.”
“Jennifer isn’t bothered and doesn’t care about the Alex and Madison rumors,” the source continues. “She thinks it’s outside noise and trusts Alex. She’s so in love with him.”
But there is one thing J.Lo isn’t happy about – “Jennifer isn’t happy that her and her relationship are being called into question over a TV show allegation,” a second source tells the outlet.
And J.Lo still totally trusts A-Rod. “Alex had assured Jennifer that he did nothing wrong and she believes him,” source no. 2 said, adding, “The couple is looking forward to when this all blows over.”
And according to yet another source, J.Lo doesn’t have time for any of those rumors.
“J.Lo will soon begin working on her movie in the Dominican Republic,” an insider told E! News. “Everything is fine with Alex. She doesn’t let the cheating rumors get to her and chooses not to pay attention.”
“A-Rod is not going with her to the Dominican,” the source continues. “He has his own work and a busy schedule. This is her thing, and she’s very excited to get started on the project.”
The couple have also already laid down plans to celebrate the day of hearts.
“They are celebrating Valentine’s Day in Miami,” the source adds.
As for their wedding plans, ET’s source says nothing has changed. “Jennifer absolutely still wants to marry Alex and the gossip isn’t affecting her at all.”
It’s no secret that J.Lo and A-Rod can’t wait for the pandemic to be over to finally be able to tie the knot. The two became engaged in March 2019 and had originally planned to wed in 2020. However, the wedding plans were put on hold when the pandemic hit and the Hustlers star actually admitted in a recent interview with Allure that cancelling their wedding was “a big deal.” However, she’s choosing to see the silver lining.
“Maybe that wasn’t the right time,” she said. “You start thinking of all of these things — how everything has its kind of perfect, divine moment.”
