Hilary Duff is officially stepping back into her pop era — and this time, she’s going global.

The singer, actress, and millennial icon has been riding a wave of nostalgia-fueled excitement over the past few weeks thanks to her Small Rooms, Big Nerves mini tour, which has seen her perform intimate shows packed with longtime fans, deep cuts, and plenty of early-2000s emotion.

During the final show of the mini tour on Friday night, January 29, at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, Hilary surprised fans with an announcement that instantly sent the room into celebration mode: a world tour is officially on the way.

Rather than making a straightforward announcement, Hilary opted for something far more playful and on-brand. She invited three fans onstage to join her for the choreography to “With Love,” creating a moment that already felt special before the reveal even happened.

After the performance, Hilary handed each of the fans a T-shirt. At first glance, the shirts seemed simple — until she instructed them to turn around at the same time. Each shirt featured a single word, and together they spelled out the message fans had been hoping for: “World,” “Tour,” and “Loading…”

The audience erupted with cheers and applause as the meaning became clear. Hilary beamed as fans screamed, cried, and immediately began pulling out their phones to document the moment.

The announcement comes at a particularly exciting time in Hilary’s career. In addition to returning to live performances, she’s also gearing up to release her long-awaited new album, luck…or something, which arrives on February 20. The project marks her first full-length album in years and has already generated buzz thanks to its reflective tone and grown-up pop sound.

Before launching into a full-scale world tour, Hilary will also be headlining a special residency in Las Vegas for Valentine’s Day weekend — a move that signals just how confident she is in the demand for her live shows.

As of now, Hilary hasn’t shared any additional details about the upcoming world tour, including dates, cities, or ticket information. But if the reaction at The Wiltern is any indication, fans are more than ready.
