Hilary Duff’s triumphant pop resurgence isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Following a monumental 2026 comeback that saw her release her acclaimed studio album luck… or something in February alongside her current global tour, the 39-year-old icon recently surprised fans with a seasonal release, Holiday Things.

While Duff has just wrapped the 2026 leg of The Lucky Me Tour—with a few pit stops planned for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball circuit in December—she will pick up her headlining dates again in January 2027. Thanks to overwhelming demand, the tour was officially extended through late November 2027.

In a comprehensive cover story with Billboard, Duff made it crystal clear that her return to the recording booth is a permanent fixture.

“I 100% want to make a new album,” she told Billboard. “Now that I’ve cracked that part of my business back open, I don’t want it to just go away again.”

Though work on her next studio effort hasn’t officially commenced, Duff confirmed that a deluxe edition of luck… or something remains in active development.

Looking ahead to future touring strategies, Duff admitted she’s eyeing a shift away from heavy, city-to-city travel in favor of a curated residency model once her current commitments conclude.

“People in Iowa are like f***ing stoked that you come,” she shared regarding her current arena run. “The idea behind touring for that big chunk in the summer was saying hi to everyone that’s been waiting a long time. I’m not sure it’s ever going to look like that again. I think it’ll more look like what these [artists with residencies are doing.]”

That evolution could also include major summer music festivals. Brian Manning, one of Duff’s agents at CAA, confirmed to Billboard that conversations around festival appearances are actively underway for 2027 and beyond.

“We are definitely fielding those opportunities and discussing them for 2027 and beyond,” Manning shared. “Universally, we feel one of the best ways to begin festival conversations is to demonstrate that you’re a proven ticket seller in festival markets, and we’ve put those wins on the board.”

With a three-month breather on her schedule between mid-February and early March 2027, followed by another opening from late May to early August, the calendar aligns perfectly for potential festival dates. Until then, fans can catch Duff on the Jingle Ball stage before she resumes The Lucky Me Tour next year.
