The ongoing legal battle surrounding It Ends With Us continues to grow more complicated, with new allegations now coming from actress Isabela Ferrer. Ferrer, who played the younger version of Blake Lively’s character Lily in the film, has filed claims against director Justin Baldoni, accusing him of harassment and intimidation as the legal feud between him and Lively wages on.
For most of 2025, Baldoni and Lively have been embroiled in court after Lively accused him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her. Baldoni has denied those accusations and filed a countersuit, claiming defamation, extortion, and more. Now, Ferrer’s name has entered the fray.
According to Ferrer’s attorneys, Baldoni’s team has attempted to “exert pressure” on her through a subpoena. Initially subpoenaed by Lively’s team, Ferrer’s side contacted Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Studios, seeking reimbursement for her legal costs as required under her contract. However, her lawyers allege the company agreed to pay her fees only if she allowed Wayfarer to control her response to the Lively subpoena.
Her attorneys state, “From that point forward, Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer.”
In newly filed court documents, Ferrer’s team argues that Baldoni’s legal maneuvers are not only unfair but also intended to damage her reputation. “The motion is yet another attempt to manipulate the press, to create havoc on a young, up-and-coming and talented actress and to violate this Court’s policies on the publishing of non-party personally identifying information,” the documents state.
They further allege that Baldoni’s latest filing was an attempt to “harass” Ferrer, adding, “Ms. Ferrer has already had to resist Baldoni’s inappropriate conduct in connection with her response to the Lively Subpoena.”
The statement continues, “Unfortunately, the Motion is just the latest in a broader pattern of conduct by Baldoni to bully Ms. Ferrer. While Ms. Ferrer will faithfully comply with her legal obligations under any subpoena, summons or court order, she obviously will not be intimidated or extorted by any party to otherwise participate in the proceedings.”
For Ferrer, who is early in her career, this development places her in the middle of one of Hollywood’s most closely watched disputes. With Baldoni and Lively’s court battle already making headlines, the actress’s claims add yet another layer of drama and complexity to an already explosive situation.
