Actress Janel Parrish and Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Sasha Farber have ended their romantic relationship, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
The news arrives roughly three months after the couple first confirmed their romance publicly. Official representatives for both the Pretty Little Liars star, 37, and the veteran ballroom dancer, 42, have not issued formal comments regarding the split.
The duo first ignited romance rumors in early April, posting playful social media videos that highlighted their shared dance background. On April 9, Parrish posted a tongue-in-cheek TikTok joking that the two had randomly “run into” each other in a parking lot. By April 27, they hard-launched their relationship on Instagram.
Though their romantic connection developed recently, their foundation was built on years of professional camaraderie. Parrish first joined the Dancing with the Stars family in 2014 for Season 19—where she competed alongside partner Val Chmerkovskiy while Farber served on the pro troupe.
“I did the show and he was my buddy Sash for a very long time, and then we reconnected and here we are,” Parrish previously explained to Us Weekly, detailing how their longtime friendship eventually evolved.
Attending the Gold Gala in Los Angeles in May, Parrish praised Farber’s warm nature and attentive personality while speaking to reporters on site:
“He’s such a light,” Parrish told PEOPLE at the event, noting that he “brings so much love and light and positivity” into every room. She added: “He’s an amazing chef. I literally was just filming a movie every day until 7:30 p.m. and I’d walk in the house and he would have a full spread for me. I’m just very, very lucky.”
The former couple made their formal red carpet debut on June 5, donning coordinated evening wear at the 33rd annual Race to Erase MS Gala in Los Angeles.
Prior to their relationship, both stars experienced major personal transitions. On April 9, PEOPLE confirmed that Parrish had separated from her husband of seven years, Chris Long, whom she married in 2018. Farber previously dated his Season 33 DWTS partner, former Bachelorette star Jenn Tran, until their split in June 2025. He was also previously married to fellow DWTS pro Emma Slater from 2018 until their separation in 2022; Slater officially filed for divorce in 2023.
