Jared Padalecki is letting fans know how he’s doing and how grateful he is for their support.
The 39-year-old actor took to social media on Tuesday (April 26) to write a sweet message to his fans following news that he was involved in a very bad car accident.
Alongside a photo of himself with his daughter, Jared penned this note on Instagram:
“Hey y’all! I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love.
I’m definitely on the mend and hoping to return to filming later this week.”
He went on to thank everyone for the care and love, tagging his wife Genevieve in his message:
“I’m so lucky to have had the best care and be surrounded by people who love me. So grateful for everyone.”
Genevieve later on shared Jared’s post to her Instagram Stories.
Jared’s Supernatural co-star and real-life friend Jensen Ackles revealed over the weekend that Jared had had an accident recently:
“He was in a very bad car accident. He wasn’t driving. He was in the passenger seat, and he’s lucky to be alive.”
