Jessie J is putting her health first as she continues to recover from breast cancer.
The 37-year-old singer took to Instagram on Thursday (August 28) to update her fans about her upcoming No Secrets tour. In an emotional video, Jessie revealed that she will be cancelling the U.S. leg of the tour and postponing the European dates.
Jessie explained that the difficult decision comes after her recent health challenges. Back in June, she underwent breast cancer surgery, and she now needs to have another procedure before the year ends.
“As some of you may know, I just had breast cancer surgery eight weeks ago,” Jessie said in the video. “Unfortunately, I have to have a second surgery. Nothing too serious, but it has to be done before the end of the year.”
The “Price Tag” hitmaker admitted she feels disappointed and emotional about the timing of everything, especially since the surgery conflicts directly with her tour schedule.
She continued: “So, that is what it is, and I’m sorry.”
Jessie acknowledged how hard it is to let fans down but emphasized that prioritizing her health is the only option right now.
“I feel frustrated and sad,” she admitted, adding that it’s tough to step back from performing when she knows how much fans were looking forward to the shows. “But also, it is what it is. And I need to be better. I need to be healed, and I know this is the right decision to make.”
The U.S. leg of the tour will be fully refunded, and fans who had tickets can expect to see their money returned. Meanwhile, Jessie assured her European fans that the rescheduled shows will go on in April 2026, according to People.
This isn’t the first time Jessie has been open with fans about her health. Throughout her career, she has frequently shared both her struggles and triumphs, creating a strong connection with her audience.
