Two powerhouse voices. One stage. And a tour fans didn’t see coming.

Josh Groban and Jennifer Hudson officially announced they’ll be hitting the road together next summer — and the reveal itself was as joyful as you’d expect. The surprise came during Groban’s appearance on the Tuesday, December 16 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, where the two let the secret slip in front of a live audience.

“We might have the same secret, which I think we should tell people,” Groban teased before delivering the big news. “Which is that this summer, this extraordinary, extraordinary, one of the greatest vocalists who’s ever lived, one of the most amazing people on the planet…has graciously agreed to come out on the road with me. We’re gonna be touring!”

The announcement sent the studio audience into instant celebration — and for good reason. Groban and Hudson, each known for their once-in-a-generation vocal talent, have long been admired individually. Together, the pairing promises something special.

The duo also surprised select audience members with tickets to upcoming shows, turning the reveal into a moment of genuine fan connection — a hallmark of both artists’ careers.

According to People, the joint tour will kick off on June 2, 2026, in Montreal before making stops in major cities including Boston, New York, and Nashville. Additional dates are expected to follow.

Tickets go on sale beginning with presales on Wednesday, December 17, with general on-sale launching Friday, December 19. Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster or StubHub.

While details about the setlist remain under wraps, expectations are understandably high. Between Groban’s sweeping ballads and Hudson’s gospel-rooted, soul-shaking vocals, the tour is poised to be a masterclass in live performance.

Beyond the music, the collaboration feels rooted in mutual respect. Both artists have built careers defined by consistency, vocal excellence, and authenticity — never chasing trends, always honoring the craft.

For fans of live music, the Groban-Hudson tour isn’t just another concert announcement. It’s an event — one that brings together two voices that don’t just perform songs, but feel them.
