It seems Kanye West will be taking a vow of silence — at least for one month.
The 45-year-old rapper and fashion mogul has announced that he will be embarking on a self-described “30 day cleanse.”
The announcement comes after he shared hateful and anti-Semitic statements for many weeks now. His behavior has generated many headlines and led to him losing major brand partnerships.
Now, he is saying that he will be going on a “30 day cleanse” to take some time away from all of it.
He wrote on Twitter:
“I’m taking a 30 day cleanse. A verbal fast, no alcohol, no adult films, no intercourse. In God we praise, amen.”
It is worth noting that he has since posted many more tweets. It is unclear at the moment what his cleanse entails.
