Katie Holmes may have a new leading man in her life.

The actress set off a fresh wave of dating speculation after she was photographed holding hands with New York-based artist Jason Bard Yarmosky during a recent outing in the Hamptons, where the pair attended a screening before spending the evening together at an afterparty.

While neither Holmes nor Yarmosky has publicly addressed the relationship rumors, eyewitnesses who saw the two together described an undeniable chemistry throughout the night.

The pair attended a special screening of Olivia Wilde’s latest film, The Invite, hosted by The Cinema Society at the Regal UA theater in East Hampton.

According to an eyewitness who spoke with People, Holmes and Yarmosky appeared completely at ease together from the moment they arrived.

“He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing, they seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night,” the source said.

The insider also shared another sweet detail from inside the theater.

“They sat together during the movie, she had her head on his shoulder at one point. They looked very cute.”

Following the screening, Holmes and Yarmosky reportedly stayed for the afterparty held at The Boat House in East Hampton, where they spent much of the evening chatting with friends.

Photographs from the outing showed the pair walking hand in hand, further fueling speculation that the actress may be embarking on a new relationship.

Representatives for Holmes have not commented on the reports.

Yarmosky is an accomplished contemporary artist whose work has been exhibited throughout the United States. Known for paintings and sculptures exploring themes of memory, family and aging, he has built a respected reputation within the art world while largely remaining outside the celebrity spotlight.

For Holmes, the recent outing marks the latest chapter in a personal life that has long attracted public attention.

Earlier this year, fans briefly speculated that Holmes could be rekindling her romance with former Dawson’s Creek co-star Joshua Jackson after she “liked” a social media comment encouraging the pair to reunite.

Those hopes have since faded.

Jackson has recently been linked to model Olivia Burgess, and the longtime friends have consistently described their relationship as one built on deep mutual admiration rather than renewed romance.

That affection was on full display in June as Holmes and Jackson reunited to promote their film Happy Hours at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Walking the red carpet hand in hand, the former co-stars reflected warmly on their decades-long friendship.

“The time that we spent together when we were young is very precious to both of us,” Jackson said during an interview with Cherry the Geek TV.

He continued:

“And [it] is like one of the core personal and professional relationships in my life.”

Their comments delighted longtime Dawson’s Creek fans, many of whom still remember Joey Potter and Pacey Whitter’s beloved on-screen romance.

Off screen, Holmes and Jackson also dated briefly between 1998 and 1999, making their continued friendship all the more meaningful for viewers who grew up watching the series.

Holmes’ own romantic history has remained one of Hollywood’s most closely followed.

She famously married Tom Cruise in 2006, and the couple welcomed daughter Suri Cruise that same year before separating in 2012.

Following her divorce, Holmes spent several years in a private relationship with Jamie Foxx, whom she dated until 2019.

In the years since, she has also been linked to chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. and musician Bobby Wooten III, although she has generally kept those relationships away from the spotlight.
