Keith Urban is officially back on stage—but not everything from his past performances made the cut.
The 57-year-old country star performed Thursday night (October 2) at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, marking his first show since news of his split from Nicole Kidman. But one song was noticeably missing from his setlist—“The Fighter.”
The song, reportedly inspired by his now-estranged wife, was dropped just days after a viral clip reignited speculation about their marriage.
During a performance late last month, Keith had playfully changed the lyrics of the hit. Instead of the usual line, “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter,” he sang:
“When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player.”
He was referring to Maggie Baugh, a 25-year-old up-and-coming country musician who plays in his band. Maggie posted the moment on Instagram with the caption, “Did he just say that👀.”
Fans immediately started connecting dots, and the moment spread fast.
According to Setlist.fm, “The Fighter” was officially removed from Keith’s lineup as of October 2.
The change came just days after Nicole filed for divorce, ending their 19-year marriage.
