Khloé Kardashian is drawing a clear line.
After years of navigating one of the most public and emotionally complex relationships in reality TV history, Khloé is once again addressing her past with Lamar Odom—this time in response to comments he made while promoting his Netflix documentary, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.
The documentary revisits one of the most harrowing chapters of Lamar’s life: his near-fatal overdose in 2015 at a Nevada brothel. It also brings Khloé back into the narrative, as she reflects on their marriage, their divorce, and the role she played in supporting him through his recovery.
But what began as a collaborative, seemingly positive project has now turned into something more complicated.
Speaking candidly on her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, Khloé didn’t hold back.
“I think what’s pissing me off is, we did this, all good. I was done with this. I’m like, I’m never going to do another Lamar thing again, ’cause I’m all good. But now Lamar is doing press [and saying he’s] annoyed with me. Claiming or insinuating that I’m a liar, all these things, discrediting me, saying that I wasn’t the one that helped him,” she explained.
The tension stems from Lamar’s recent press appearances, including one on Today, where he credited God for his recovery—while seemingly downplaying Khloé’s involvement. He also pushed back on specific claims made in the documentary, including Khloé’s account of his father’s stance on life support.
For Khloé, the issue isn’t just disagreement—it’s feeling misrepresented after stepping back into a chapter she had already closed.
“I feel so dumb,” she added.
According to Khloé, her decision to participate in the documentary came from a place of compassion—not obligation.
“I said, ‘I want to make sure this is a positive piece. I don’t really want to go down this road if it’s negative. He’s been through enough,’” she shared.
She went on to explain that she was reassured by those involved that the project would be respectful and uplifting.
“Everyone was like, ‘No, it’s amazing. It’s going to be really positive. He’s the one doing it. He’s the one asking…I willingly do the Netflix thing for Lamar. I’m not getting paid one penny to do this. I have no dog in this fight. It doesn’t matter to me if this documentary is made or not made. I don’t care. And it’s also not something I really want to talk about anymore,” she said.
That’s what makes the current situation feel particularly frustrating.
“All I did was tell the story that I was asked by you to tell. But now to play in my face, and now to act like I didn’t do any of the things I did and insinuate I’m a liar…is crazy…I feel played,” she added during a conversation with her longtime best friend Malika.
For longtime followers of Khloé’s journey, this moment feels like a reopening of old wounds—ones she has worked hard to move beyond. And while she has consistently shown up for Lamar during some of his darkest moments, her latest comments suggest she’s no longer willing to have her role questioned.
If anything, Khloé’s message is clear: she’s done revisiting the past—especially if it means rewriting it.
