Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are proving that distance doesn’t equal a breakup.
Speculation that the couple had split began after the 28-year-old beauty mogul celebrated her birthday without the 29-year-old actor by her side. The chatter gained traction online when fans noticed Chalamet was absent from her party photos.
However, Jenner offered a subtle but telling sign that they’re very much still together. When Chalamet shared the trailer for his upcoming film Marty Supreme on Instagram, Jenner showed her support by liking the post. Fans quickly caught the quiet gesture, interpreting it as proof that the two are still connected despite their busy schedules.
Jenner’s birthday was celebrated with family and friends, with a special shoutout to her sister Kendall Jenner for planning the festivities. Meanwhile, Chalamet’s absence appears to have been work-related. He’s currently filming Dune: Part Three in Budapest, which insiders say left him unable to attend the celebration.
Sources close to the couple told People that their relationship remains solid, even if their schedules keep them apart. “They haven’t seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée’s been filming Dune in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie’s been working too,” one insider shared. “She visited him in July.”
The source continued, “But even though Kylie has a private jet, the flight is still 12 hours. She’s a mom and she works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in LA. Timothée’s schedule is grueling, with very little downtime.”
“They’re making it work though,” the insider emphasized. “They FaceTime most days. They miss each other and are totally fine.”
Another source noted that Chalamet will soon travel to Jordan and Abu Dhabi for the next phase of filming, adding more distance between the couple.
Despite the time apart, Jenner and Chalamet have demonstrated a willingness to prioritize their relationship. First linked in April 2023, they made their debut as a couple at a Beyoncé concert later that year and walked their first red carpet together this past May at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome.
For now, Jenner’s quiet show of support online appears to have silenced breakup rumors, while sources insist the pair are committed to maintaining their relationship despite demanding schedules.
