Kylie Jenner is facing a new legal challenge following a lawsuit filed by a former housekeeper who alleges she experienced discrimination, harassment, and unpaid labor while working at Jenner’s residence.

The lawsuit, filed April 17 in Los Angeles by Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, outlines a series of claims tied to her employment, which began in September 2024. According to the filing, Vasquez alleges she “was subjected to severe and pervasive harassment” during her time working at Jenner’s home.

Described in the complaint as a “Salvadoran woman and a practicing Catholic,” Vasquez claims she worked in an environment that was “hostile” and marked by “discrimination, harassment, and retaliation … based on her race, national origin, religion, and disability.”

Much of the lawsuit focuses on the conduct of supervisors overseeing her work. Vasquez alleges that these supervisors “snapped their fingers” at her, “mocked [her] for her accent and treated [her] as inferior because of her Salvadoran background.” The complaint further states she was subjected to “repeated demeaning comments referencing [her] Salvadoran origin and immigration status, insinuations that coworkers of similar background had been deported, [and] boasting about United States citizenship in a manner designed to demean Plaintiff as a work authorization permit holder.”

According to the filing, Vasquez raised concerns about her treatment around November 2024. However, she alleges that instead of corrective action, she was mocked by supervisors and that “no remedial action” was taken. The complaint states that the “mistreatment” escalated following her complaint.

In a later incident described in the lawsuit, Vasquez claims that after lodging another complaint in March 2025, “a supervisor threw hangers at Plaintiff’s feet while reprimanding her.”

The lawsuit characterizes the work environment as “so intolerable, hostile, and unlawful” that a “reasonable person” in her position “would have felt compelled to resign.” Vasquez ultimately left her position in August, approximately 11 months after she began working there.

In addition to harassment and discrimination claims, Vasquez also alleges violations related to compensation. She claims she was directed to work at locations beyond Jenner’s primary residence, including “Jenner’s boyfriend’s residence on multiple occasions,” but was not reimbursed for mileage or transportation costs.

Jenner has been publicly linked to Timothée Chalamet since 2023, and the lawsuit references work assignments tied to his residence as part of its claims.

The filing also names La Maison Family Services and Tri Star Services, the agencies that employed Vasquez, as co-defendants. According to the complaint, these entities, along with Jenner, “knew or should have known of the harassment and failed to take immediate and appropriate corrective action to stop the conduct and prevent its recurrence.”

Vasquez is seeking a jury trial to determine compensatory, restitution, and punitive damages. She is also requesting injunctive relief aimed at preventing the defendants from engaging in similar conduct in the future.

Amid the emergence of the lawsuit, Jenner posted a series of photos on Instagram, captioned, “can’t a girl have fun.”

As of now, no further public statements have been issued by Jenner or the named companies regarding the allegations.
