Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson may have just gone from co-stars to something more.
The 58-year-old Baywatch icon and the 73-year-old Taken actor reportedly began dating during the filming of their new comedy The Naked Gun, and it’s quickly turning heads. According to People, “It’s a budding romance in the early stages. It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other.”
Earlier this week, the pair leaned into their playful dynamic during a visit to the Today show—pretending to get caught mid-makeout for a hilarious segment. Their chemistry has been apparent for a while now. At the London premiere of their film, Pamela gave Liam a kiss on the cheek, setting off early buzz that something romantic might be happening.
Liam hasn’t shied away from singing Pamela’s praises. “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” he told press. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with.”
Pamela returned the sentiment: “He is the perfect gentleman,” she shared. “He brings out the best in you … with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
She went on to say, “I think I have a friend forever in Liam. We definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving. He’s a good guy,” in an interview with EW.
Their film, The Naked Gun, hits theatres on August 1. Liam takes on the role of Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., son of Leslie Nielsen’s character from the original movies. Pamela plays Beth, his romantic counterpart.
The pair even recently brought their children along to a red carpet premiere—adding an extra layer of sweetness to an already unexpected love story.
