Lil Wayne’s Welcome To Tha Carter Tour ended on a less than stellar note.
The 40-year-old rapper performed his last show for his tour on Saturday (May 13) in LA. However, he called if off after performing for just a short while.
He seemed to blame the crowd for their lack of energy.
Lil Wayne reportedly started the show one hour after the scheduled start time. He then performed for only half an hour before he handed over the stage to the other acts that were with him.
And then he shocked the crowd by pulling the plug altogether on the show.
Outlets reported that Lil Wayne returned to the stage to tell fans off for their lackluster response before he abruptly ended the show. He declared:
“We appreciate it, but we ain’t about to be bending over backwards for these folks. We work too hard for this s-it. We work way too hard.
This my motherf-cker’ artist Allan, that was Twist, that was Yaj. We are Young Money. We appreciate y’all time.”
The setlist was supposed to include 39 tracks, including many of Lil Wayne’s biggest hits.
