Global pop sensation LISA has officially released her brand-new single “Tarantino,” accompanied by a high-octane visualizer that plays out like a love letter to vintage cinema. The track serves as a flagship moment on her newly minted EP, Press Play, a six-song project designed around a cohesive cinematic concept where listeners are encouraged to sit back, hit play, and experience each track like a distinct film chapter.
In the high-concept music video, the K-Pop powerhouse embarks on a dangerous, action-packed mission across stylized landscapes to deliver a handwritten note directly to her favorite director, Quentin Tarantino. The track’s sharp lyricism pulls heavy inspiration from Tarantino’s iconic filmography, weaving references to cult classics like Kill Bill and Death Proof over a driving, funk-infused beat.
In the chorus, LISA commands the track with signature swagger:
“Got my nails really long like the barrel of my gun / And my lipstick all over your face / I’m a boss, I’m a don when I’m drivin’ to the sun / It’s a movie, baby, come and press play (Press play) / Tarantino, Tarantino / Got my feet hangin’ out the Camino (Oh).”
Full Lyrics to “Tarantino”:

Hold my gold chain, baby, you can stay for the teaser
[Pre-Chorus]
Death proof, baby, I do all my own stunts
F you, baby, like a razor on my tongue
Black suit, fast food, take me out to lunch
At the drive-thru, Thai funk, shakin’ out the trunk
[Chorus]
Got my nails really long like the barrel of my gun
And my lipstick all over your face
I’m a boss, I’m a don when I’m drivin’ to the sun

Alongside “Tarantino,” Press Play features the tracks “SaWaDiKa,” “V12,” “Cobra,” “Cut U Off,” and “Sweat.” During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, LISA opened up about how her heritage and personal journey shaped the EP’s soundscape:
“This EP is about my journey from my roots to where I am right now today. There’s a lot of Thai elements in the songs as well, in the EP. And every single song has their own character, their own vibe and we combine it together. It’s like a movie. So you just press play,” she told Fallon.
