Hilary Duff’s triumphant return to music is officially turning into a year-round celebration. The 39-year-old pop icon, currently commanding stadium crowds across Australia and New Zealand on her sold-out The Lucky Me Tour, dropped a festive surprise on Tuesday: a brand-new holiday EP titled Holiday Things, landing on streaming platforms this Friday,October 23.
“I guess Christmas came early …” Duff teased on Instagram alongside the project’s cozy, velvet-toned cover art.
The release marks Duff’s third major musical milestone of 2026 alone. After kicking off her career renaissance with the slick late-2025 single “Mature,” she ended a decade-long album drought in February with her critically lauded record luck… or something.
Just weeks ago, she contributed the catchy soundtrack single “CATastrophe” to The Cat in the Hat.
Duff laid the groundwork for the announcement last week while celebrating the 24th anniversary of her beloved 2002 debut Christmas album, Santa Claus Lane:
“I remember last Christmas Eve … Today Santa Claus Lane turns 24 and it has me reminiscing on all the fun we’ve had around the holidays together over the years … let’s do it again this year?” she wrote to fans.
Holiday Things features three brand-new original tracks alongside two re-imagined holiday staples. Highlights include a fresh rendition of George Michael’s “Last Christmas”—dubbed “(Mine)” as a nod to her current era of creative ownership—and a lush cover of Judy Garland’s timeless Meet Me In St. Louis classic, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
‘Holiday Things’ Official Tracklist:
- “All You Want for Christmas is Me”
- “Last Christmas (Mine)”

With physical copies, limited-edition vinyl, and exclusive merch dropping on her official store, Duff isn’t stopping there. The star is slated to hit the stage for select stops on iHeartRadio’s upcoming Jingle Ball Tour, all while extending her global The Lucky Me Tour dates well into late 2027. Pop music’s favorite queen is officially back on her throne.
