Miley Cyrus is proving once again that her connection with her fan base goes far beyond the concert stage. Following her triumphant two-night comeback engagement at the Hollywood Bowl, the 33-year-old pop icon delivered an extraordinary act of kindness for a fan facing one of the most difficult challenges of her life.

TikTok creator Cash Jacobs, who was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, attended the first night of Cyrus’s Los Angeles concert series during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ahead of the show, Jacobs posted a hopeful video message asking if the singer might help her shave her head before she began chemotherapy treatments.

“I am going to wear a wig tonight because I’m a little self-conscious about my balding head, but if she calls out my name or anything of the sort, I’m going to rip my wig right off and wave it in the air so that she can locate me,” Jacobs shared in her initial video upload.

While the crowd of nearly 18,000 made a direct call-out impossible during night one, Cyrus’s team saw the viral request online. Moving quickly, the singer personally arranged to fly Jacobs back out to Los Angeles for the second Hollywood Bowl show, inviting her backstage for a private, deeply intimate meeting after the performance.

“She took the time to meet me after and help me through one of the scariest and most intimate moments of my life,” Jacobs wrote in an emotional update video posted earlier this week.

In the touching footage, Cyrus can be seen gently buzzing Jacobs’ hair while offering uplifting words of empowerment, reassuring the fan that she could be “soft and strong at the same time.”

“Thank you to the universe for bringing us together and celebrating our connection and what music does for the world,” Cyrus expressed during the clip, showering Jacobs with warm compliments about her facial features, ears, and head shape to put her at ease.

“Thank you for asking me to do this. I am honored to be the one that you asked to share this moment with and thank you,” the “Flowers” hitmaker added softly.

Reflecting on the life-changing interaction, Jacobs shared a heartfelt message of gratitude to social media, praising Cyrus for her radical empathy and genuine warmth:

“They say don’t meet your idols. Well I did. And it was everything and more,” Jacobs wrote in the caption. “Finding out I had breast cancer, getting a port put in my chest and starting chemo was hard enough as it is. Never mind the side effects I’d soon be facing from the chemo.”

“Miley is the softest, coolest, KINDEST, and most genuine human being I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting and spending time with. And not to mention her SHAVING MY F****** HEAD!!!!! WHAT?!? I want to hold on to this moment and to always remember the conversations we had and what they mean for me. And more importantly, what they did for me at a time like this.”

“Lastly, thank you @Miley Cyrus For making me feel safe and comfortable, for giving me your time, and for being exactly who you are. It is a huge gift to continue to watch you grow and you are forever my biggest inspiration,” Jacobs concluded.
