Miley Cyrus has just dropped her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, marking a new chapter in her musical journey. Released on May 30, 2025, the album features 13 original tracks and showcases Miley’s evolution as an artist.
In a recent interview, Miley described the album as a “pop opera fueled by fantasy,” hinting at the thematic depth and experimental nature of the project. She also teased that this album is just the beginning, referring to it as an “appetizer” for an upcoming, more experimental project.
To complement the album, Miley co-directed a 55-minute visual film, also titled Something Beautiful. The film is set to premiere at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on June 6. Following its debut, the film will have a limited theatrical release in the United States and Canada on June 12, before a global release on June 27.
Fans can expect a rich, immersive experience that blends music and visuals, reflecting Miley’s artistic vision and personal growth.
