Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham are directly responding to rumors that Nicola is feuding with Brooklyn’s mom and her mother-in-law, Victoria.
The feud rumors have been hounding the couple, who wed earlier in the year, for months. And now, Nicola, 27, is addressing the rumors for the first time.
Speaking to Variety, she shared that she believes the rumors began when she wore Valentino couture on their wedding and not a Victoria Beckham-designed wedding gown, saying:
“I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.
She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”
Brooklyn also broke his silence on the rumored falling out between his wife and his mother, simply stating:
“I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that. They’re always going to try and put people down.
But everyone gets along, which is good.”
