Heather Matarazzo is clearing up a rumor that’s been going viral recently.
The Princess Diaries actress has taken to social media to clarify that she is not, in fact, related to Stranger Things actor Gaten Matarazzo, after a TikTok video linking the two of them went viral.
Heather shut down that rumor on her TikTok account. She said in a video:
“I just wanted to clarify something because I’ve been getting a number of messages regarding this.
I absolutely adore Gaten Matarazzo, I think he is brilliant, I think he is wonderful. But I cannot claim him as my son. Because he is not.”
She went on to send a shout out to Gaten as well:
“Gaten, if you would like to help confirm this, that would be greatly appreciated. I also wonder how inundated you’re getting with messages as well.”
And she concluded by saying:
“So yes, love Gaten Matarazzo but not my kid. I have no kids – they’re all fur babies, I have four-legged babies.”
