Offset is on the mend after a frightening incident in Florida that left the rapper hospitalized—but thankfully, out of immediate danger.

The 34-year-old artist, best known as one-third of Migos and for his high-profile relationship history with Cardi B, was reportedly shot while spending time near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Details surrounding the incident are still unfolding, but early reports indicate that the situation was quickly contained by authorities.

A representative for Offset confirmed to TMZ that the rapper is expected to recover, offering reassurance amid initial concern. According to the statement, he is “fine” and “is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”

Law enforcement also issued a statement shedding light on what happened. “We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,” officials said. “Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”

While the injuries are described as non-life-threatening, the incident inevitably brings renewed attention to the dangers artists can face—even in seemingly controlled, public environments.

For Offset, the moment carries additional emotional weight. His Migos bandmate Takeoff was tragically killed in November 2022 after being shot, a loss that deeply impacted the hip-hop community and Offset personally. Though unrelated, this latest incident echoes a painful chapter that still lingers.

Offset has remained active musically in recent years while navigating major personal changes. He and Cardi B—who share three children together—officially split in 2024 while she was pregnant with their third child, marking the end of one of hip-hop’s most closely followed relationships.

As of now, Offset remains under medical supervision as authorities continue investigating the shooting. No further details about motive or circumstances have been confirmed.
