An inspiring show of support is unfolding ahead of this year’s ESPY Awards, and it’s bringing together an unlikely but enthusiastic duo.
Paris Hilton and Flavor Flav have joined forces to make sure every member of the U.S. Women’s Hockey Team can attend next week’s ESPYs after learning that not every athlete initially received an invitation to the annual awards ceremony.
The Olympic gold medal-winning team is nominated for Best Team at the 2026 ESPYs, but because of standard ticket allocations, several players were at risk of missing the celebration altogether.
Flavor Flav decided he wanted to change that.
The rapper and longtime supporter of women’s sports took to Instagram to explain the situation while making a personal commitment to help.
“The ESPYs offer ALL teams the same number of invites to rep the team at the awards, leaving many out. These women deserve to represent and celebrate together. I told my girl Hilary Knight I would make sure ALL the women get to go to the awards and the ESPYs gonna give them extra tickets. Imma take care of all travel, glam and wardrobe.”
He also encouraged companies and organizations to step forward and contribute, turning his social media post into a public call for support.
It didn’t take long for one major name to answer.
Paris Hilton responded on X with an offer that immediately expanded the effort.
“Flav, this is so iconic! A lot of people don’t know this, but I played ice hockey in high school and loved it. Hilton and I would love to help these amazing women out too. How does 2.5 million Hilton Honors Points sound? Can’t wait to see my girls on the USA Hockey team sliv at the ESPYs. My Hilton fam will be in touch with Paris Points.”
Hilton’s contribution will help cover hotel accommodations through Hilton Honors, allowing more members of the championship team to travel together and celebrate one of the biggest nights in sports.
The announcement also ties into Hilton’s recently launched summer initiative, in which she revealed plans to give away one billion Hilton Honors Points through weekly promotions and charitable efforts.
As news of the collaboration spread, other companies also stepped up.
Southwest Airlines offered to assist with flights, Uber committed to helping with ground transportation, and Glamsquad volunteered hair and makeup services to help the athletes prepare for the ceremony.
The growing list of supporters transformed what began as one Instagram post into a collaborative effort across several major brands.
Flavor Flav later returned to social media to thank Hilton for getting involved.
“THIS is what’s really ICONIC,,, my girl Paris Hilton stepped up to help cover the hotel rooms so the entire women’s hockey team can go to the ESPYS together next week. Very proud to be a Hilton Honors Diamond member,!!”
The partnership reflects Flavor Flav’s ongoing commitment to women’s athletics.
In recent years, he has become one of the most visible celebrity advocates for female athletes, using his platform to highlight funding disparities and encourage greater recognition for women’s sports.
His latest initiative continues that mission by ensuring an entire championship team can celebrate its accomplishments together rather than leaving teammates behind due to logistical limitations.
The celebration won’t end with the ESPYs.
The day after the awards ceremony, members of the U.S. Women’s Hockey Team are expected to travel to Las Vegas to join Flavor Flav at SHE Weekend, an event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of women in sports.
