Snoop Dogg isn’t saying sorry—at least not this time.

Over the weekend, an image circulated on social media that appeared to show the rapper apologizing for his viral comments about LGBTQ+ representation in Pixar’s Lightyear. The supposed statement quickly spread online, sparking debate and coverage across multiple outlets.

But according to Deadline, the apology never happened. Sources close to the rapper confirmed that Snoop has not issued any statement, and there is no such post on his official social media accounts.

The controversy began when Snoop recounted taking his grandson to see Lightyear, which features a same-sex couple raising a child together. His blunt reaction to the storyline quickly went viral.

“I didn’t come in for this sh–. I just came to watch the godd*mn movie,” Snoop Dogg recalled in an interview, which was later widely shared online.

The clip generated a wave of criticism, as many called out the rapper for his remarks, while others defended him as simply voicing his opinion.

The fake apology post only added fuel to the fire, leaving fans confused about where he actually stands. At this point, it seems Snoop is letting his original comments speak for themselves.
