Sabrina Carpenter just had a major career milestone — she’s officially teamed up with Taylor Swift.

The 26-year-old “Espresso” hitmaker is featured on the title track of Taylor’s upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl, set to drop October 3. Taylor made the announcement while revealing the 12-song tracklist during boyfriend Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast with his brother Jason Kelce.

“THE LIFE OF A SHOWGIRL OCTOBER 3 🧡 i know someone who’s freaking out and it’s me,” Sabrina wrote on her Instagram Story, posting the album cover alongside her reaction.

She also shared a sweet throwback from her surprise Eras Tour performance with Taylor last October, as well as a behind-the-scenes snap from Taylor’s Showgirl photo shoot.

The collaboration is extra special for Sabrina, who has been open about her admiration for Taylor since she was a kid. She got to live the dream when she joined the Eras Tour as the opening act from August 2023 through March 2024, building a friendship with the 14-time Grammy winner in the process.

Fans had been speculating for days that Sabrina might pop up somewhere on Taylor’s new album. Between Easter eggs, online theories, and the pair’s history of performing together, Swifties were convinced something was brewing — and they were right.

With The Life of a Showgirl on the horizon, this track is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of the fall. And for Sabrina, it’s another big step in what’s already been a massive year for her career.
