The name of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s baby girl has been revealed!
According to the birth certificate that was obtained by ET, the joyful new parents have named their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jones.
The beautiful name pays homage to Priyanka’s Indian roots. In Sanskrit, ‘Malti’ means small fragrant flower as well as moonlight.
The birth certificate also reveals that Malti was born just after 8:00 p.m. PT on January 15, 2022 at a hospital in San Diego, California.
Nick, 29, and Priyanka, 39, announced in January that they had welcomed their first child via surrogate. They released a joint statement on social media
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
