On Tuesday’s (February 25) The Voice blind auditions, Nick Jonas revealed that he wrote and submitted songs to his fellow coach, Kelly Clarkson – but she turned them down!

So, 18-year-old contestant Chelle got three chairs to turn during her audition – Nick, Kelly, and Blake Shelton. (John Legend said he felt like an “idiot” for not turning around). And the coaches had it out for each other to try and get

During his pitch, Nick gave Chelle quite the compliment, telling her, “You’re the kind of singer I would die to write songs for.”

“Am I the kind of artist you could write songs for?” Kelly suddenly asked.

And Nick replied, “I think I’ve submitted songs for you that you turned down.”

Kelly, who looked totally shocked by his revelation, was all, “WHAT?! Have you?!”

“That’s why I blocked you,” Nick joked, still trying to win Chelle over to his team.

She ended up joining Kelly’s team though.

But OMG! Imagine if Nick and Kelly had a collab! Maybe it’s not too late?

Nick is totally killing it in his career right now – he’s already a household name because of the Jonas Brothers, he’s also made a name for himself as a solo artist, an actor, and now, as a coach on The Voice – but, apparently, he once dreamed of going to college and maybe going into a completely different profession.

In a recent interview on Late Night With Seth Myers, Nick revealed that while he was in the midst of the JoBros fame, he had checked out some colleges. He and his dad even went for a campus visit at Northwestern Western University.

“I went back in 2008 or 2009. We were on tour. We stopped in Chicago. I had dreams of going to college to study being a writer, journalist, or something. And I went with my dad to visit the campus and it turned into a scene from Hard Day’s Night,” Nick shared. “But the real dream was to try to walk on to the baseball team to play.”

Whoa!
