Post Malone teamed up with Blink 182’s Travis Barker to pay tribute to Nirvana and raise money for a good cause.

The Nirvana tribute virtual concert streamed live on YouTube on Friday (April 24) and has since raised more than $4.3 million, which will go toward the  United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization.

“I hope everybody’s staying nice and hanging out at home, playing Call of Duty or something. We kinda just wanted to kinda f–k around and have a good time and I guess just remember that everything ain’t all bad necessarily and there’s always people that want to reach out and help. That means a lot,” Post said at the top of the concert. “Thank you to everybody who’s donating. Thank you to everybody watching. It means the f–king world to us.”

“Let’s kick this s–t in the a–, you know?” he continued. “I know we’re all separate, but it’s important for everybody right now to come together, I guess, and kick it’s a– together.”

Their fund-raising efforts will continue for two more months – you can donate here.

As millions continue to stay home, music artists have been giving virtual concerts to help keep fans entertained as well as raise funds for various coronavirus relief efforts. Other celebrities have been holding virtual events – like Diddy and NKOTB who threw virtual house parties.

In light of the school closures, John Krasinski DJ’d a virtual prom, which included performances from Billie Eilish and the Jonas Brothers, for those missing their prom.

School closures also mean that graduations across the world have been cancelled amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Facebook and Instagram will be holding a virtual commencement ceremony to celebrate this year’s graduates called #Graduation2020: Facebook and Instagram Celebrate the Class of 2020

The virtual graduation will kick off on May 15 on Facebook Watch and available at facebook.com/facebookapp. Individual segments will be posted to the @instagram account on Instagram, plus contributors’ social media accounts.

Celebs like Oprah Winfrey, Akwafina, Jennifer Garner, Lil Nas X and Simone Biles have teamed up to serve as commencement speakers at a virtual graduation for the class of 2020. Miley Cyrus will give a special musical performance of her song, “The Climb.” More speakers will be announced soon.
