Ever wonder how Deadpool is passing the time while sheltering at home? Well, since he’s a fictional character, he’s probably not. But Ryan Reynolds is opening up about what life in quarantine is like for him and his family.

Ryan and wife Blake Lively, and their three daughter are among the millions who are self-isolating and socially distancing themselves during the coronavirus outbreak.

In a recent interview on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Ryan revealed that he and Blake are trying to make their time together as educational as possible.

“We’re doing a lot of home-schooling. We’re lucky enough to have a little, tiny garden, so we’re learning a little bit about gardening. We’re trying to make this an educational experience,” he shared.

But the owner of Aviation Gin also enjoys a little something something for himself. “But I’m mostly drinking,” he quips.

As for grooming and styling, Ryan says Blake has been up to the task of cutting his hair.

“Tomorrow, Blake is going to give me a haircut,” he said. “She did this once before. It took two and a half hours. And then at the end it looked like she had done the whole thing using only a lighter or, like those gloves that are made of sand paper. It would have been a little faster if she had just rubbed my head until the hair disappeared.”

“But tomorrow I’m getting a haircut, and I’m very excited,” he added.

Ryan and Blake have made generous donations to help out those who have been hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak –  donating $1 million to food banks in Canada and the US, another $400,000 to New York City hospitals, and a percentage of sales to help bartenders who are out of work due to the social distancing efforts put in place.

“I’m not really in the business of telling people what to do, necessarily, but I do think it’s incumbent upon those who can give back to do so,” Ryan explained. “Particularly an a time like this.”

Another couple has also opened up about life in quarantine – Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.

Kristen and Dax joined Katie Couric on Instagram Live for a quick interview, where they shared how life in close quarters isn’t always peachy.

“We’re getting along good with the kids and we’re getting along good with adults we’re friends with. This has been stressful for momma and dada,” Dax says.

“We’ve been at each other’s throats real bad, real bad,” Kristen admitted.

They were sitting next to each other during the interview, but Kristen says that was “as physically close as we’ve been in a couple of days ’cause we’ve just found each other revolting.”

“America’s sweetheart has some character defects,” Dax added.

Kristen also opened up about the reason she agreed to host #KidsTogether: The Nickelodeon Town Hall on Monday March 30) night.

“Kids are worried about missing their summer camps, they’re missing their birthdays,” she said, noting that her eldest daughter’s birthday party while in quarantine “was a bummer.”

“We did a big Zoom class party and had all the parents on FaceTime, but it wasn’t really the same,” she shared.

“It’s not the world’s worst thing that can happen, but those kids do deserve an opportunity to say, ‘I’m bummed!'” Kristen explained.

Kristen, Dax and their kids recently made a donation to No Kid Hungry amid the coronavirus outbreak. According to the organization, the actress and her family donated a total of $150,007.96.

“NKH has always been there for kids who need them. They work tirelessly to provide food for the hungry bellys all over this country. I encourage anyone with the means to share to donate as well, any amount helps, so we can get through this together,” Kristen shared, explaining, “(The reason the number is odd, is because when my kids overheard me making the donation, they asked if they could also donate the money from thier piggy bank. I couldnt have been prouder to add that extra, and important 7 dollars and 96 cents.😍
