Selena Gomez wants to let us know that there is no bad blood between her and Simi Khadra. The 29-year-old singer and actress is showing the world that that she is in fact good friends with the rumored new flame of The Weeknd, who is Selena’s ex-boyfriend.
Selena took to social media to highlight her friendship with the DJ and her twin sister Haze. She posted two photos of the three of them together on Instagram, and captioned the post:
“Since 2013 💙”
The Only Murders In The Building star’s post comes a couple of days after Simi sa caught in a passionate lip lock with The Weeknd during his birthday celebration.
A source dished to ET that the two were “seeing each other,” saying this about the pair:
“The Weeknd and Simi have been seeing each other and having fun together. They were acting very couple-y this past weekend at his birthday celebration in Vegas,” the source shared. “It’s easy since they have known each other for a long time. Simi is supportive of The Weeknd and they have a natural flirtation and chemistry.”
Selena and The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, were together for less than a year in 2017.
Simi, 28, is also friends with another of The Weeknd’s exes, Bella Hadid.
