Music’s biggest night went down on Sunday (January 26) night – filled with big wins and surprising snubs, touching tributes, and memorable performances. Celebs brought their fashion A-game to the GRAMMYs red carpet, and many loved up couples were total #relationshipgoals throughout the evening.
One couple surprising DID NOT walk the red carpet together though – Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
BUT, don’t panic everyone. It’s all good.
The two singers received a joint nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song “Señorita,” but Camila took her dad as her date to the GRAMMYs. And it appears that Shawn flew solo at the event.
Although they were reportedly seated together for the award ceremony, there were no footages/photos of the two of them together that evening – not even Shawn’s reaction to Camila’s performance of “First Man,” which totally got Camila’s dad all emotional. But, during the show, Shawn totally double-tapped the Recording Academy’s Instagram post of Camila singing onstage to show his support.
Once the award show ended, however, and celebs began hitting up the hottest places to be – GRAMMYs after-parties! – they were spotted enjoying an impromptu karaoke session.
Shawn and Camila were caught on video belting out One Direction’s 2014 hit, “Steal My Girl” – and they looking in each other’s eyes and everything! The couple was also joined by Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi, and the now-trio all got up on a table, which they used as a makeshift stage!
But the fun didn’t end there. They were singing a One Direction song, so who better to jam with than an actual One Direction member? Yup, Niall Horan, also got his booty up there and turned the trio into a quartet.
Looks like these guys totally had a good time at that party!
Camila and Shawn were later snapped leaving the party hand-in-hand.
They also both attended the GRAMMYs last year, but also did not walk the red carpet together. So maybe that’s just their thing?
