New couple alert?
It looks like a Riverdale crossover has happened beyond the screens – and it has nothing to do with the shows.
Katy Keene star Lucy Hale and Skeet Ulrich, who played Jughead’s dad in Riverdale, were snapped by paparazzi on a romantic lunch date at Sweet Butter Café over the weekend. In photos published by Page Six, the two could be seen packing on the PDA during the outing – Lucy and Skeet were playfully holding each other’s hand during the meal, and, at one point, the two also shared a kiss!
They later masked up and went for a stroll around Los Angeles – during which, Skeet had his arms wrapped around Lucy.
It’s not really clear how the two met, but it’s entirely possible it’s through their Riverdale connection – Katy Keene is one of the show’s spin-off series, while Skeet was part of the Riverdale cast until Season 4.
The two are yet to confirm the dating rumors. However, Lucy has previously opened up what she was looking for in a guy.
“I physically do not have a type. I’ve dated everything cross the board,” she told Entertainment Tonight back in July.
She also shared that she’s looking for someone “someone who’s confident and comfortable” in their own skin. “There’s so many insecure men out there and I can’t do that. I’ve dated that. Don’t want that,” she said.
Sense of humor, work ethic, drive and passion are important to her as well.
“I don’t care what you do, just love it. Do everything a hundred and ten percent,” she explained. “A good moral compass. Just a good person. It’s very simple what I’m looking for, but that’s hard. Simple qualities are harder to find.”
“I’m not settling for anything less than what I’m looking for,” she added. “Because why? Why would I?”
