The nominees for these 75th annual Tony Awards have been revealed.

On Monday (May 9), performers Adrienne Warren and Joshua Henry presented the list of nominees for the 2022 Tony Awards, which gives recognition to the best in live theater over the past year.

The pandemic may have derailed the 2020 season, but the Broadway worked is back on track with both new and returning star-studded productions resuming in NYC. The comeback wasn’t without setbacks — many productions were put on hold due to covid outbreaks, which forced the eligibility period to be extended from April 28 to May 4.

Now, the Broadway world is celebrating the achievement of the 2021-2022 season.

The 75th annual Tony Awards will be hosted by Ariana DeBose live at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 12. It will be a four-hour TV event, starting at 7PM ET / 4PM PT on Paramount + and then continuing on CBS at 8PM ET / 5PM PT.
